# macOS Installation

**1. Double-click "Orion.Terminal.app.zip"**

**2. Double-click "Orion Terminal"**

**3. Click&#x20;***<mark style="color:purple;">**OK**</mark>*

**4. Navigate to System Preferences -> Privacy & Security.**

**5. Scroll down until you get to the "Security" section. Click on&#x20;***<mark style="color:purple;">**Open Anyway**</mark>***.**

**6. macOS will say it can't be opened, click&#x20;***<mark style="color:purple;">**Open**</mark>***&#x20;to silence this warning.**

**7. Keep the Privacy & Security window open (we'll need it again shortly), now Right Click on "Orion Terminal".**

**8. Click "Show Package Contents"**

**9. Click on "Contents"**

**10. Click on "Resources"**

**11. Double-click on "cli"**

**12. Once you see the green text "**<mark style="color:green;">**Connected to backend**</mark>**" Orion Terminal is working. However you will notice the warning regarding Input event monitoring, lets fix that. Navigate back to System Preferences -> Privacy and Security.**

**13. Click the Accessibility button**

**14. Toggle the switch on "Terminal".**

**15. Now navigate back to the "cli" file and Right Click**

**16. Click "Make Alias"**

**17. Type "Orion\_Terminal \[\[Enter]]"**

**18. This alias will point to the cli, so you can store it in your favorites or Applications. Happy Trading!**
